7/31/2017 · By now, many of you will be aware of Hornady ’s new 7mm 180gr ELD- M . It’s the A-MAX that many of us waited several years for. Lately I have been using this bullet in the 7mm Rem Mag and 7mm Practical. Please take note that this bullet can develop higher pressures than the Berger VLD.
6/10/2020 · The Hornady 6.5mm 123 ELD- M component bullet for handloaders actually has the Interlock ring inside the jacket to help hold the core in place. I was told that it had the interlock ring, so I cut one apart and melted the core out just to confirm. I’m told this is the only Hornady ELD- M bullet that has the interlock ring. I can’t confirm that though.

3/22/2020 · This was 180gr Hornady 7mm ELD- M out of a 26” Proof carbon barrel chambered in 7mm Sherman Shortmag. ADG brass with FGMM210M primer, 60.1gr H1000 with a muzzle velocity of 2843. Impact velocities were: 2568fps @ 250yrds 2400fps @395yrds 2314fps @ 493yrds.

9/30/2018 · Anyone have any experience using the Hornady 123 gr ELD M for hunting ? Hornady doesn’t make a lower weight ELD X in 6.5. This is for a Grendel. Have read multiple places that the 123 is basically an AMAX and this is the only weight Hornady did this with. Picture for attention.
